COPIC marker's: why you should want them too!

Donna is thinking about putting a COPIC MARKER club together. If you haven't heard of COPIC's before, then click on the above link.

THEY ARE AWESOME.

They are also something that every card maker should want to call their own. Really. I promise, and I don't lie. Those of you who have taken one of my classes know- I tell it like it is.
If you haven't taken one of my classes- that's another story. (I'll be returning to teaching more in April.) But, trust me- these are markers/pens you want to add to your stash- more so if you do primarily cards.

Here are some examples of what COPIC MARKER's can do to your cards. Didn't I tell you it was a "WOW" factor?!

YESTERDAY CARD CLUB CLASS

The card class was yesterday.  I wanted to let Mel know that we all had a great time.  I really enjoyed the book we made.   It was just fantastic.  Thank you Mel, great job!

We talked earlier, prior to class about Copic pens (Mel and I).  I used them at CHA and fell in love with them.  For those of you that don't know about them they are fantastic.  I am having a hard time stocking them, because I blew my budget on papers and stamps, but am trying to find a way to have you get some.  These pens are refillable, and you can replace the tips.  So it is a one time thing,  very green friendly.  We have way to much plastic in the world without recycling and keeping down the cost.  What a great idea.  I will keep you up to date on what I plan to do, in the mean time check out copic.com and check them out.  They make card making a whole new experience.

Have got to get some sleep, it is almost 2 am and my mind hast to to rest.

added new site to post to and ask questions

Hi all,

Thought it would be fun to have a group where we could all talk and post works, etc.  So I started a group under the name of Country Scrappin at Plaxo.  I sent a message off to those of you that come to the store inviting you to join the group.  So it is up to you.  Will Start posting different items this coming week, hope you do the same.

NEW PAPERS & STAMPS HAVE ARRIVED FROM CHA!

New papers and stamps are arriving daily now from my trip to CHA.  We have adorable stamps from Hanna Stamps featuring Reily the Moose and of course Hanna.  Both of them are a must see!  As you know moose are hard to find and especially ones that are as cute as Reily is.  I am sure they are going to just fly out of the store, so come in soon since they are in limited supply at this time.  Check them out at Hanastamps.com for a sneak peak at what they look like.  Reily is doing all kinds of activities including but not limited to: hiking, fishing, golfing, riding his tractor and being sick, too!  Hana is a very cute young lady and is also doing some different things i.e..  ridding her motor cycle, gardening and farming.  I will try to get a picture of some of these from the web site if not just go to this link:

 www.Hanastamps.com
You will have to see some of the designer cards that she gave me to post from the show they are absolutely fabulous.  I mounted them and proudly displayed them behind the desk were all could see.  I am also looking forward to having a card class with these card in March.

Papers that are in:  Almost all the new line of Moxxie. to view them got to:
www.gotmoxxie.com

Another great idea for stamping is a company name Rite Stamps.  They have created circular stamps that you can change out the centers and boarders on.  So instead of having countless numbers of stamps you have one circular base and multiple boarders, center sayings, monograms and alphabets to create different sayings such as an individuals name.  The possibilities are endless .  Plus, you will not have to carry numerous stamps with you to your next crop.

In the near future I will also have the ability to make customized stamps for you.  I purchased a stamp maker.  This will allow me to make customized stamps of what ever you want.  With the Pumpkin Carriage no longer in existence this should come in handy.

March 1 st. is the deadline for names for Eggie the Eagle.  She really does need a name so keep your suggestions coming in!

Stop by soon, like I said lots of new stock are in with more coming in for you to look at.  Think you will really like some of the choices I made.

Bye for now.
